Coach Robert Perkes is in his 7th year coaching Washington Little Guy Wrestling and his fifth year as Reactor Head Coach. He coaches youth sports year round for the Richland YMCA, Greater Richland Grid Kids and Greater Richland Little League. He has been coaching sports for over 6 years in the Tri-Cities.

Coach Perkes wrestled for Ricks College and was the Western Region Runner-Up and participated in the NJCAA national tournament. His career ended after 1 season when the college disbanded wrestling as a varsity sport. He was a USAWrestling Cadet Freestyle All-American after placing 4th at the national tournament in 1994. He placed 3rd at WIAA Mat Classic in 1996.

Coach Perkes has been happily married for 18 years to his college sweetheart Britta J Perkes (Bell) and the proud papa of 4 blonde haired clones ..uh I mean boys. Rex (15), Eli (13) Asa (11) Max (8). He is the owner of Core Concepts a chiropractic, rehabilitation and massage clinic with multiple locations in the Tri-Cities.

Josh Lucas is in his 5th year with the Reactor Wrestling Club. Josh wrestled for Colby College in Kansas an NAIA powerhouse. He was a state placer in Nebraska during high school. Josh’s father was a high school coach so he was raised on a wrestling mat.

Josh and his wife Grace have 2 boys that wrestle.(Liam (15) and Gavin(8)). Josh is a Physical Therapy Assistant for Lourdes. They only thing he enjoys more than tying opponents in knots is fixing them afterwards.

ZACCoach Zac Carpenter is starting his 2nd year of Washington Little Guy Wrestling. He brings over 10 years of High School coaching experience with him having previously served as an assistant coach at Kennewick High School and Southridge High School  as the Head Coach of KiBe middle school.

He placed 3rd at the WIAA Mat Classic in 1997 for KiBe High.  He went on to wrestle for the Washington State University club team while he earned degree in psychology. He is happily married to his wife Mandy and has 5 children all named after great wrestlers.  It doesn’t take a psychology to degree to see what is on this coaches mind.
